So I ask myself ... ‘why do I even need a Personal Trainer when there are so many other options out there?’

Isn't it amazing that fitness is so close to our fingertips now!?

That we have so many options of how to get fit!

With our rising obesity rates it is perfect! But why would you spend $$$ on a PT when there are so many other low or no cost options!?

I first got my PT because even though I had all that, I had got to a point that I needed more of a push, I needed someone to get me past that mind block. I needed to be shown the correct form on moves I was doing, even the simple ones I thought I was doing correctly! I needed someone to tell me what I should be doing each day. I needed that accountability.

Reasons for a PT

1. Ability and proper Form check! It is so easy to watch others in gym or a vid and go yep I am doing the same thing. But are you? So many little factors go into the simplest moves. One little adjustment from your PT could make the world of difference.

2. Accountability. Having a set day, time and place to be meeting someone, knowing you are paying for someone! Definitely makes you stick to it.

3. Equipment! Yes it is cheaper options to buy equipment then there use to be, but why have it clog up your home when it can clog up your personal trainers home, or the Gym?! Most gyms and Personal trainers have a arsenal of equipment to mix up your workouts and offer that extra challenge!

4. Extra push! A fantastic coach can offer up extra motivation and push to their clients limits without risk of injury. They are trained to see when your head is telling you to stop, and know how to get that extra bit out of you then if you where doing it on your own.

5. Save $$ long term!! Yep you read right! Save money long term as your trainer can coach you on how to tweak your form, to ensure you do not accidentally injure yourself. They can ensure you are performing the exercise to get the best out of it, working the correct muscles.

6. Personalized. A trainer will personalize the program to suit your goals, your body, and your fitness level. They can tweak your program as you go along to suit the changes you are making. Personal trainers are trained in identifying and providing the best personalized program for you!

7. Location, location! Majority of Personal trainers can work around you, where do you like to train? Gym? Outside? A lot of personal trainers can offer flexibility to train where you like to train.

8. Maximum results. When you train with a trainer they will help you maximize your time in the session. They will help you maximize your workout. They will help you maximize the effort you are putting in, and the muscles you are recruiting.

9. Learning. The skills, and exercises your trainer will teach you, will take you through to your workouts on your own, and into years to come!

10. Freedom!!! If you have kids, or any other kind of stress in your life. It is a great way to escape. To find that short time that is just for you! With your personal trainer completely focused on you for that time!
