Beyond limits

I love the saying, #limitless

The idea that there are no limits, or that you push your limits so far that you break through them. In saying all that, everyone’s limits are different, Your limits may be more or less than the person sitting next to you. 

That is what is sooo exciting about life, and about limits, they are all different and, are all as individual as we are. 

Limits are there to be pushed, they are there to be broken, and new limits set. 

We all know our own bodies, know what our limits are and where our body is ready to go to, where our mind is ready to go to. It could be injury that stops you from doing certain things, or it could be ‘I just plain old don’t enjoy that style of training.’

Sometimes our exercise limit is more or less, depending on other factors going on. How did you sleep the night before? How busy has your day been? How are you feeling emotionally? How has your nutrition been?! So many things will factor into how far you can push your body from one day to the next. 

As a trainer I love helping people find their limits, helping people discover what exercises they like to do, where they want their bodies to go. While also helping them navigate what is good for their body short term, and long term. My favourite thing - especially in group training, is to offer alternative options for every move, to suit everyone’s limits. My favorite saying is “there is always options” am sure my clients get sick of hearing me say it. 🤣
